TOPEKA, Kan. (April 8, 2009) €“ Registration for the 2009 Tire Rack® SCCA Solo National Championships opens today, April 8. SCCA has also announced details regarding camping and award ceremonies.The early registration period for the 2009 Tire Rack Solo National Championships runs from April 8 to Aug.14 and costs $135. Those who have not attended or plan on attending a 2009 Divisional or National Tour event will be charged a $180 waiver fee as well.The entry fee includes admission to both the Wednesday and Friday night receptions and award ceremonies. Taking place at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln, Neb., the receptions are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m., with the awards ceremony following at 7 p.m. each evening. Parking at the Embassy Suites will be limited, so a shuttle service will be available. Competitors will be asked at paddock check if they plan to use this service. Camping is available on-site for a non-refundable fee of $40 to cover 24-hour security. Pre-registration for camping spots is requested, but not mandatory.
