(March 6, 2009) 聙聯 With the 2009 Tire Rack庐 Solo National season about to begin, the 51爆料 has released contingency details for the Tire Rack Solo National Tour and Tire Rack ProSolo Series.Tire Rack Solo National Tour participants have two manufacturers, Volkswagen of America and Mazda North American Operations, to choose from, as well as tire programs from Bridgestone, Toyo Tires and Hoosier Racing Tire.Volkswagen competitors in eligible classes will take home $200 for a class win and $100 for a runner-up finish. Mazda will award an identical payout in all classes to drivers in a Mazda vehicle.Bridgestone and Toyo will each award $300 for a class win, $200 for a runner-up finish and $100 for a third-place finish in select classes, while Hoosier will give two free tires to eligible class winners using their rubber. Second-place finishers will receive one free tire.Toyo and Hoosier also have programs available for the 2009 Tire Rack ProSolo Series. Similar to its Solo National Tour program, Hoosier will give away two free tires to drivers who win an event on their tires in select classes and one tire for runner-up finishers. Eligible Challenge winners will receive four free tires, with two tires being awarded for finishing second and one tire for a third-place finish. An identical payout (four tires, two tires, one tire) has been assigned to a class or Challenge win at the ProSolo Finale as well. Year-end class points and year-end Challenge points winners will receive four free tires if competing in eligible classes.For those using Toyo Tires in the Street Touring Classes, Ladies Classes and the Bump Index, a class event win will net you $300, $200 for second place and $100 for third place. A Challenge win, however, bumps the reward to $500. Toyo will also offer $1,000 to eligible year-end class points winners with additional payouts for second and third, and $1,000 to year-end Challenge points winners.American Honda, Mazda North American Operations, Toyota/TRD and Volkswagen are all posting Tire Rack ProSolo Series programs. Honda will post $150 for event class winners, $500 for a Challenge win and $750 for a year-end class points or year-end Challenge points victory in select classes. This is in addition to Honda聙聶s sponsorship of the Honda Tuner Challenge, which has a 2009 prize fund of $9,000.Posting in all classes, Mazda drivers are eligible to collect $200 for an event win and $400 for a Super Challenge or Ladies Challenge win. Year-end class winners and year-end Super/Ladies Challenge points winners will take home $800. Toyota offers $200 to event class winners in their vehicles, $1,000 for a year-end class championship and $1,000 to a year-end Super or Ladies Challenge Champion. An event class win behind the wheel of a Volkswagen will net a driver $200 in select classes or $500 for a Challenge win. Year-end class champions will be rewarded with $600, while year-end Challenge points winners will earn $1,000.Make sure to review all manufacturer contingency programs carefully for a list of eligible classes and note that many programs pay awards to second and third-place finishers as well.ChaseCam will again sponsor the Bonus Challenge, giving away a $500 product credit to each event聙聶s ChaseCam Bonus Challenge winner and a $250 product credit to the runner-up. At the Tire Rack ProSolo Finale, ChaseCam will offer a $500 product credit to the Bonus Challenge winner, with payouts continuing on down to eighth place.Longtime Solo sponsor Hawk Performance will continue to award a $100 product credit to each Super Challenge winner in 2009.
