TOPEKA, Kan. (Dec. 4, 2008) 聙聯 For the 15th-consecutive year, Tire Rack庐 will be the title sponsor of the SCCA National Solo program. Tire Rack聙聶s support of the Solo program continues to be the longest-running major sponsorship in SCCA.Tire Rack聙聶s Solo sponsorship began with the Solo Nationals in 1995 and has now expanded to include The Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour, The Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo National Series, and The Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals. New in 2008 and continuing in 2009 is The Tire Rack SCCA Divisional Championships, an optional program SCCA Divisions can enroll in to further develop their Divisional Solo events. The Tire Rack Tour will expand in 2009 with the addition of an Eastern and Western States Championship and the introduction of the Triple Crown Award, which is comprised of a Solo National Championship, Divisional Championship and Eastern or Western States Championship.聙聹SCCA Solo is grassroots motorsports competition that allows access to motorsports competition at the local level with an increasingly competitive progression culminating with the annual Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships,聙聺 Tire Rack Vice President Matt Edmonds said. 聙聹The event gives everyone the chance to compete in the largest motorsports championship in the world. The enthusiasts competing at this level represent the range from our newest and youngest customers just getting started to the loyal veterans of the sport, and we enjoy supporting them all in their passion.
