ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (Sept. 22, 2010) 聙聯 After the cars stopped, the competition continued at Road America, where 24 participants donated $25 each to the SCCA Foundation for a chance to outrun SCCA President & CEO Jeff Dahnert around the four-mile Road America circuit in the second annual SCCA Beat the Boss run. Benjamin Schaut was the first of six competitors who did beat Dahnert, posting a time of 25 minutes, 49 seconds (9.296 mph). Dahnert聙聶s seventh-place finish was a two position improvement from the race a season ago. The 2010 edition of Beat the Boss raised more than $700 for the SCCA Foundation. The SCCA Foundation supports programs like the Tire Rack庐 Street Survival, a "hands-on" driving experience for young drivers that simulates real-world situations.
