The field of talent at the Tire Rack SCCA National Championships is extremely deep. The result is close finishes and winners who truly earn their victories. Super Street Modified was a great example of this fact as Jake Namer came from behind to win the title by a mere 0.069-second over Tuesday leader Matthew Glagola. After the razor close finish Namer could not put into words the emotional rollercoaster he had just endured to come out the other end as the victor. Ending Tuesday in fourth, Namer put down a screaming second run that cleared his closest competition by 0.7-second and was able to finish as the only driver in the class to break the 50-second barrier. Namer earned his first National Championship jacket, after finishing 2014 as the runner up.
