One weekend. Two events. The prairies of Oklahoma and the hills of upstate New York. A Tire Rack SCCA® Solo® National Tour and a Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo® Series event. Those are your options for dodging cones on the National level during the Aug. 1-3, 2025, weekend.
After those events, we’ll all be making the trek to Lincoln, NE, for the Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Finale and Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships to see who is the best of the best.
This makes these last events of the Solo National Tour and ProSolo Series that much more important – because if you think you’re going to show up at Lincoln Airpark with minimal seat time and drive to glory, you’re sadly mistaken.
Burns Flat ProSolo: What to Know
The Tire Rack SCCA Burns Flat ProSolo at the OK Space Industry Development Authority in Burns Flat, OK, is your last chance to pick up valuable ProSolo points and improve your place in the ProSolo standings.
So what exactly is a “Burns Flat,” and why should you give this a try?
The town itself has a population of just under 2,000, and what they have is the third largest civilian runway in North America at 2.5 miles long. While it’s not likely that the course will just be an exact replica of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, it’s at least possible…because that’s a BIG piece of concrete. You can literally land spaceships here – so yeah, it can handle your Miata.
Yes, it’s 100 miles from Oklahoma City. Like most spaceports, it’s not exactly in the middle of a metropolitan area. But that’s thinking negatively. A good question is: Why were all of the Oklahoma and Texas autocrossers excited to see this site on the schedule? Because it’s worth it – that’s why.
It’s also worth going because there are valuable ProSolo points on the line.

Finger Lakes Solo Nat Tour: Why to Go
The Finger Lakes region in the summer is nice. Just imagine: You in upstate New York surrounded by rolling mountains, a nice breeze, and a fishing pole in hand when you’re not driving at the Tire Rack SCCA Finger Lakes Solo National Tour.
Sounds good, right?
The Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, NY, is an old favorite and lays out some very nice and challenging autocross courses. There’s an Evo Advantage Driving School on Friday morning and the absolutely free Starting Line Driver’s Edge Experience on Friday afternoon for those new to Solo National Tours.
This one’s beginning to near the entry cap, so you’ll want to sign up soon.
