About Group
The Arctic Alaska Region – SCCA's largest Region, encompasses the boundaries of the State of Alaska. Chartered in 1989, we sanction SCCA Road Rally, Solo, and RallyCross events from Homer to Fairbanks.
Our Region has held two Fire & Rescue Schools to bring SCCA safety education to local racing organizations, Course Design Schools - one with Houston's Roger Johnson, and for twenty years brought SCCA's finest Soloists north for our Solo Weekend. We have held one TireRack Street Survival School.
