I met the previous owner of this car 3 years ago through a good friend. I started picking his brain about it and he told me the engine was needing replacement soon. Being a man of help and consideration I offered to swap the engine for free. Fast forward 3 years and my offer still stood. The owner said rather than pay me to replace the engine, he'd simply hand the title over as payment. He said it's karma for offering free help to a stranger and keeping the promise for years.
